JUNIOR WALLSTREET FINANCIAL LITERACY SCHOLARSHIP
We are excited to announce the Advancing Youth Scholarship for the summer of 2025. This scholarship will be awarded to 10 students to attend the Junior Wallstreeter Empowering Youth with Financial Wellness summer camp. This camp teaches life-long financial awareness and discipline through 10 lessons with an emphasis on African American history and culture. Topics like budgeting, banking, and investing in the stock market are covered. Our camp goes beyond others by exploring community wealth building through investment clubs. In addition to access to the camp, the recipient will also receive course materials including an electronic handbook. The total value of the scholarship is $350 and it is non-transferrable.
Applicants must:
- Be between the ages of twelve (12) and eighteen (21) years of age at the time of application
- Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia
- Have access to a computer with internet access capable of running Zoom video conferencing to attend the virtual summer camp
- Email essay, including parent or guardian’s phone number and address, no later than June 20th, 2025 to kevon@theblackwallstreeter.com
- Be available and have access to a computer/phone during the camp schedule of June 24th- July 19th, 2024. Eastern Standard Time (This includes a 1-hour lunch break at 1pm)
The Junior Wall-Streeters Financial Literacy Scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone by July 15, 2025.
